By Carol Cashmore

This book was published in April 1999.

It consists of 224 pages of text plus 12 pages of black and white photos and 32 pages of colour photos.

It has two chapters on the Cadborough and Bellevue Potteries of the last century where tin glaze ware decorated with applied sprigs of hops and other rustic adornments was made.

It has three chapters on Wally and Jack Cole and the Rye Pottery they founded in 1947, which made majolica ware. Their pottery and models are now extremely collectable.

It has one chapter each on the Potteries Wally and Jack's apprentices formed in Rye in the 1960s: Cinque Ports Pottery, Iden Pottery, David Sharp Pottery and Ray Everett Pottery.
